The Winnipeg Police and Manitoba Public Insurance are once again offering free motor vehicle inspections on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 11AM – 5PM at the Pembina Highway MPI Service Centre.
MPI and Winnipeg Police have stated that they will not issue any offence notices or require a followup re-inspection for infractions found. However, if your vehicle is deemed unsafe to drive, it may be towed.
