Lake Winnipeg – Manitoba
Lake Winnipeg is a huge lake in Manitoba that covers 9,465 sq. mi and is the 6th largest freshwater lake in all of Canada. Lake Winnipeg is surrounded by several small villages and towns such as Gimli, Grand Beach, Winnipeg Beach, Victoria Beach, and Lester Beach.

Where To Dine

  • Beach Boy Restaurant (Gimli) – Diners love the Chicken Gyro, Greek Salad, and Pickerel Burgers here.
  • Burger Bus Bistro (Grand Beach) – Diners love the fries, burgers, and the strawberry milkshake.
  • Brennivins Pizza Hus (Gimli) – Diners rave about the delicious pizza here, as well as the Greek Salad. Brennivins is located on the waterfront.
  • Kris’ Fish & Chips (Gimli) – Stop in for some pan-fried or light battered fish and chips that you won’t forget.
  • Shelly D’s (Gimli) – Diners love stopping for breakfast here and recommend the omelets, the BLT and “The Bear” Breakfast.
