Apple has unveiled details on its much anticipated Apple Watch, but in a shocking turn of events, it also introduced a new MacBook to its lineup.
Ironically, the new 12-inch Retina device is called ‘The New MacBook’. It weighs just two pounds and is 13.1mm thin (24% thinner than the MacBook Air).
Best of all? It’ll come in 3 colors: silver, space grey, and gold.
There will be two configurations:
- 1.1 GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.4 GHz, 8GB of memory, 256GB of flash storage and Intel HD Graphics 5300 starting at $1,549 (CAD)
- 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.6GHz, 8GB of memory, 512GB of flash storage and Intel HD Graphics 5300 starting at $1,899 (CAD)
The device will ship on April 10, 2015.
