Every year Winnipeg Police recovers hundreds of stolen and lost bicycles, this is what happens to the ones that aren’t claimed…

They are auctioned off at the annual Winnipeg Bicycle Auction. A total of 690 bikes will be auctioned off.

The two-day event takes place on:


Saturday, April 28:

  • Public Viewing from 7:00am to 8:45am
  • Auction begins at 9:00am sharp

Sunday, April 29:

  • Public Viewing from 10:00am to 11:45am
  • Auction begins at 12:00 noon sharp

Payment can be made by Cash, debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) (no cheques)

Bikes are sold as is with no warranty or refunds. Up to 250 bicycles will be tuned and ready to ride courtesy of W.R.E.N.C.H. volunteers & mechanics

You’ll also be able to register your bike on-site for $6.60. Registering your bicycle ensures that if its lost or stolen and Winnipeg Police recover it, you’ll get it back at no extra charge!
