Monarch Festival at Living Prairie Museum

Monarch Butterfly Originally uploaded by Creativity+ Timothy K Hamilton

Monarch Festival is being held at Living Prairie Museum on Sunday, July 27th from 12 to 4 pm.

Festivities include a hands on workshop on how to create your own butterfly garden, guided hikes, and face painting. This is definitely something to take the kids to, or for any butterfly fanatics out there.

It is the first year for the Monarch Festival. If you are not already familiar with Living Prairie Museum, it’s a 12 hectare tall grass prairie preserve owned by the city.
