As of Monday December 1, at 2:00 a.m. the annual Snow Route Overnight Parking Ban is back. Watch for the Snow Route signs, or your car may be ticketed/towed in the morning.
The annual ban will remain in effect until March 1, 2009. The ban prohibits parking between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on all streets designated as Snow Routes.
Up to date parking ban information is available on the Public Works parking bans webpage or by calling the Snow Information line at 775-SNOW (7669). In addition, the public is encouraged to subscribe online to the free email notification system that advises subscribers when a parking ban goes into effect at: http://www.winnipeg.ca/wpgmail/start.stm
