Playstation Home for the PS3 is now in open beta. I gave it a try last night, and it is pretty amazing. It makes the Wii’s Miis and the Xbox’s Avatars look like cartoons (which it pretty much is). The customization to facial characteristics is amazing – so much detail is put into making your character look as realistic to you as possible.
Playstation Home is designed to a virtual world or a matrix that you can live in. Give a try if you haven’t already. You should see a Playstation Home icon under the Network menu in your PS3.
