Local Winnipeg Cakery, Lilyfield Cakes, will be adding one more major item to their already huge list of accomplishments. They will be producing the hundreds of cakes that will be present at the time President Elect Barack Obama swears his oath to the United States of America.
Lilyfield Cakes has a long list of accomplishments including being the official gift to 2008 Oscar Nominees from ‘Extra’. A full list of their accomplishments can be found here. Halle Berry is said to order often from the cakery.
Founder Heather Stewart states that its the personal touch that makes them so successful – and that nothing is automated.
