Bike & Bus Program is Back

Winnipeg transit riders can now bike to their bus stops, then rack their bikes on the bus to join them for the ride. Sportsworks bike racks are installed on all Route 60 Pembina buses.

Route 60 Pembina was chosen to accommodate downtown and University of Manitoba areas. Both downtown workers and students can enjoy the wonderful weather and be environmentally friendly by busing and biking to work/school.

The bicycle racks accommodate two bikes per bus and are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Head to the Winnipeg Transit website for instructions on how to load and unload your bike.

The Bike & Bus program is on the road until October 31, 2010. There is no cost to use the bike racks.
