The first batch of sod was officially turned today that marks the beginning of construction on the new Bomber Stadium.
The 33,000 seat world-class stadium (expandable to 40,000 for Grey Cups) should be ready for the 2012 season.
I guess this still hasn’t really sunk in… but it’s really happening! With the sod ceremony, new photos were also released…
