PNP Games Holding Super Street Fighter 4 Tourney For Winnipeg Harvest

It has recently come to my attention that PNP Games is doing their part for the Winnipeg Harvest. In the form of a Super Street Fighter 4 tournament, PNP Games will be raising funds and accepting food donations tomorrow at the 2609 Portage Ave. Unit 1 location.

Something to mention up front is that Super Street Fighter 4 is a rated T for Teen game. Anyone under the age of 13 would need to have an adult with them.

I’m gonna try my absolute hardest to make it down to this. It conflicts with my nocturnal work schedule as I normally sleep during these hours . But hey, it’s for a great cause. Who wouldn’t wanna Street Fighter for a great cause?!

Hit the jump for all the details. If you’re a parent and don’t understand some of the terms used, just have your kids explain it to you.

Date: Saturday, June 5, 2010
Time: 1:30pm – 5:00pm
Location: 2609 Portage Ave. Unit 1

Sign-up starts at 12:30pm!

-Hori Pro EX Arcade Sticks

You MAY bring your own controller/stick from home but it must be okayed with a judge before the tourney begins.

*Should two combatants meet with conflicting control options (i.e. 360 ctrl vs. PS3) they will engage in a best of 5 console spanning match. This is only possible in the last few matches so it won’t slow down the tourney too much.*

99 Seconds, No Handicap

Console: PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360

Rules: If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
