The new football stadium that is currently under construction at the University of Manitoba has already been delayed as some deals have not gone through. However, city counillors are attending a closed-door seminar today about a proposed deal to build the 33,000 seat, $190 million dollar stadium at the U of M.
The city and province will make a joint announcement in the coming days hopefully stating that a deal has been struck, and a new stadium built sooner then later.
The sooner the deal is made, the sooner we can have a brand new stadium, and possibly the rumoured outlet mall in the old Bombers stadium.
