Unfortunately for us Winnipegers, hope was lost on getting an NHL hockey team when Glendale approved the Coyotes lease.
The Glendale City Council approved a $197 million deal that will allow them to keep the Phoenix Coyotes.
Hopefully someday the NHL will come back to Winnipeg. :(
