Not to be outdone by Assiniboine Park, Downtown Winnipeg Biz will be lighting up Memorial Park again this year with a free movie every Tuesday night in August. The screenings will take place on a outdoor screen at Memorial Park.
They will feature movie selections from the 30s, 70s and even the 80s:
August 6: Ghostbusters
August 13: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
August 20: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles & The Great Outdoors – DOUBLE FEATURE!
August 27: Pretty in Pink & The Breakfast Club – DOUBLE FEATURE!
In the event of rain, the screenings will take place the next day (Wednesday). Pre-movie activities start at 7:00pm, movie begins after dusk. [MOVIES ON MEMORIAL]
