Winnipeg Transit and Handi-Transit fares will go up once again and come into effect on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Full and Handi-Transit cash fares will be $2.55. Reduced and Senior cash fares will be $2.05. New rates for tickets and passes will also be in effect January 1.
2013 bus tickets (plus applicable cash difference) will be accepted until Sunday, March 31, 2014. So if you’re a regular rider, make sure to stock up before the price hike.
Transit Fare Summary
- Cash: $2.55 (up from $2.50)
- Ticket: $2.20 (up from $2.15)
- Max 5 Pass: $19.80 (up from $19.35)
- SuperPass: $22.00 (up from $21.50)
- Monthly Pass: $84.70 (up from $82.80)
