H&M will be opening its first Winnipeg store at Polo Park Shopping Centre by Fall 2014. It was rumoured for almost a year but the fashion giant finally made it official on Twitter last October.

Rumours are rolling in that the 25,000-square-foot store will span 2 floors (possibly 3 if they can get the LensCrafters location). The following Polo Park stores have now closed or relocated to make room for the massive store:
- Dynamite (closed)
- Mexx (closed)
- Garage (moved)
- Guess (moved)
- Eddie Bauer (open)
Garage will reopen near Starbucks and Forever 21 (old Costa Blanca location). No news yet on where (or if) th other stores will reopen. This H&M store is going to be HUGE. Are you excited yet Winnipeg?!?
