Google Chromecast is now available for purchase in Canada for only $39.00. You can purchase it at Amazon.ca which also offers free shipping. Physical stores, such as Best Buy, Future Shop, Wal-Mart, and Staples should all be stocking them soon.
Google Chromcast lets you stream videos, movies, and other content from your Android Device to your TV. It also supports streaming content from your PC/Mac/Laptop if you have the Chrome browser installed. The dongle plugs into any available HDMI port on your television set. Think of it as Airplay (iPhone’s streaming protocol) for Android devices.
