Play On!, the official Canadian 4-on-4 street hockey tournament sponsored by Hockey Night in Canada, will take place May 3 and May 4, 2014 at Garden City Shopping Centre. There will be 20 to 50 separate “street rinks” with games running on each rink at all times throughout an entire weekend.
Teams must have at least 4 and may have up to 7 players on the roster. Registration fees range from $185 – $335 depending on your age and team size. You must register by April 29 at Midnight.
Registrations can be sent online. If you prefer to the registration in-person, there are two dates/locations available:
- Saturday April 26, 11:00AM – 4:00PM Pro Hockey Life(St. James)
- Tuesday April 29, 11:00AM – 8:00PM Eastern Chrysler, Main at Leila
Winners in each division will receive a commemorative “Champion” t-shirt. Youth Division winners and finalists will be awarded medals as well. Corporate Division winners will receive a replica Redwood Cup to display in the office. Additional prizes will be provided by the local corporate community. Prizes vary from division to division.
