7th Annual Bike to Work Day June 20

The cities 7th annual Bike to Work Day will take place on Friday, June 20, 2014.

Bike to Work Day is held annually in Winnipeg each June. The goal of the one-day celebration is to promote the bicycle as everyday transportation. The event celebrates cycling culture, encourages commuters to choose active transportation, and advocates for the continued development of bike friendly infrastructure.

The day begins when pit stops all over the city open to welcome commuters on their way to work. Most pit stops will have a mechanic to help with minor repairs and adjustments and we will provide a limited supply of Tim Hortons or Stellas coffee and baking if needed.
