ERA Bistro, the restaurant that will be located at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, will open to the public on Saturday, September 27, 2014.

Chef Barry Saunders from Inn at the Forks will lead the operations as Executive Chef for the Bistro and the museums Catering Services.

He will bring his trademark style of fresh and contemporary food with an emphasis on locally sourced, nutritional, Certified Fair Trade, and sustainable products.

“The food will reflect a modernist approach, with roots in classic technique and traditional flavours” says Barry. “There will be something for everyone.”

ERA Bistro will seat 77 customers and was designed by Winnipeg’s Number Ten Architectural Group. The restaurant will be open during Museum hours for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.

Reservations are now being accepted by calling (204) 289-2190 or visiting www.opentable.com/era-bistro.
