Don’t Like The Cold? Then Check Out These Indoor Trick or Treating Options

Parent who don’t want to endure the chilly weather on Halloween night can check out some of Winnipeg’s safe Trick-or-Treating options.


Various malls throughout the city will be offering Safe Trick-or-Treating where kids can collect candy from various stores. Parent’s have peace of mind that their kids are safe from traffic and any strange homes they may come across.

St. Vital Centre:
There will be a Halloween table set up in front of Tip Top Tailors from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Free treat bags for kids 10 and under, while supplies last. Various stores will also be offering treats for kids.

Kildonan Place:
Kids in costume can visit Kildonan Place from 2:00pm – 4:30pm to Trick or Treat in the comfort of the mall. Get your Trick or Treat bag and list of participating stores at Guest Services!

Grant Park:
Grant Parks Safe Trick or Treating will take place from 4:30pm – 7:30pm. Various stores will be handing out candy to kids in costumes. There will also be an Alice In Wonderland display that you can take photos with.

Portage Place:
Safe trick or treating from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

Polo Park Shopping Centre:
There’s no official Halloween event at Polo Park, but various stores usually offer treats for kids in costumes.
