Canadian Museum for Human Rights: First Wednesday of Every Month Will be FREE

Entrance to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights will be FREE on the first Wednesday evening of each month.


The museum has also extended its hours every Wednesday evening until 8:00pm. The free entrance time frame will be from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

Regular Admission Fees (taxes included):

  • Adults: $15.00
  • Youths (age 7 to 17): $8.00
  • Students and Seniors: $12.00
  • Children Under 7: FREE
  • Family of Six or Less: $42.00

“Our goal is to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to visit Canada’s new national museum and experience a journey of inspiration in an amazing architectural setting,” said Gail Stephens, CMHR interim president and CEO. “Evening hours will help us serve a portion of the population that may not have time during the day or on the weekend, or those who wish to see the Museum in a different light.”
