The Downtown Snow Maze build returns this weekend!

If you’re looking for a fun/unique winter activity, then join hundreds of Winnipeggers as they build a snow maze in the heart of the city.

Everyone, young and old, is invited to celebrate winter and art by creating a community snow maze at the Millennium Library and Park on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Build Times:

  • Saturday, February 7: 11:00am – 5:00pm
  • Sunday, February 8: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

People are encouraged to bring their own shovels, pull on their snow pants and enjoy building a maze out of snow bricks.

“It’s always great to see the community come together and create public art, but it’s especially exciting to see Winnipeg come out and embrace wintertime,” says Carol Phillips, Executive Director of the Winnipeg Arts Council. “It’s wonderful to see Millennium Library being used year-round as a space for public art.”

If the temperature dips below -28 with the windchill, SnowMAZEing programming will be postponed. Visit www.winnipegarts.ca for more information.
