Basketball Manitoba is looking for community support to obtain a basketball themed licence plate from Manitoba Public Insurance.
The specialized license plate will support its its ‘Basketball for Life Fund’.
Basketball Manitoba’s ‘Basketball for Life Fund’ helps remove financial barriers to children who want to get involved in the sport.
If you’d like to see this license plate at MPI stores across the province, they ask you participate in their market survey to gauge the level of support within the community.
Their goal is to secure at least 500 firm requests before they proceed with the program. As with other Manitoba Specialty Licence Plates, the cost will be $70.00 with $30.00 of those dollars going directly to a supporting charity (the Basketball for Life Fund).
The deadline for the market survey is September 15, 2015. Plates can be reserved at http://www.basketballmanitoba.ca.
