Aéropostale Canada, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and will close all 41 stores in Canada including 3 in Winnipeg.
113 stores in America will also be closed. The decision comes after thirteen consecutive quarters of losses. The 3 locations in Winnipeg are at St. Vital, Polo Park, and Kildonan Place.
Liquidation sales, similar to the ones that Mexx had, are expected to start next week.
