The Public Utilities Board (PUB) has approved Centra Gas’s application to increase the current Primary Gas rate 4.5% effective February 1, 2017.

Residential customers are expected to see an increase of $32 per year. Rates will reviewed again in May 2017. Primary gas is currently a pass-through cost for Centra. The company charges customers what it pays and doesn’t make a profit.
