Tim Hortons’ Roll Up The Rim game won’t be the same this year. They company has announced that it will no longer offer paper Roll Up The Rim cups due to health concerns. The digital Roll Up The Rim game will still continue.

Because of a potential coronavirus outbreak, the company doesn’t believe it’s the right time for employees to collect rolled up tabs that have been in people’s mouths.

All $30 million worth of prizes that was originally planned for the paper cups will be redistributed to the digital Roll Up The Rim contest. Customers who show their Tim Hortons Rewards Card at time of purchase will receive digital rolls.

The major prizes for the Roll Up The Rim game are: 2020 Hyundai IONIQ Electric or Hybrid Vehicles, Samsung Smart TVs, AIR MILES Reward Miles, CIBC Prepaid Cards and TimCards.

Instant Wins Without Having to Roll
Tim Hortons cash registers are being programmed to randomly give out FREE coffee, hot beverage or baked goods during the Roll Up The Rim Promo. Winning customers will automatically be credited for their beverage at the time of purchase!

They expect the odds of winning a coffee, hot beverage or baked goods will be better than the 1:9.
