Manitobans who are 95 and older, or First Nations people who are 75 and older, can now book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

The province will start with the oldest population first – whom are most at risk – and then make its way down to younger ages. The is the first time that the vaccine has been made available to Manitobans outside of the health-care sector or living in a congregate living setting.

The birthdate they are using to determine if you are 95 and over is December 31, 1925.

There are approximately 12,000 Manitobans who are aged 95 and over, though many of them have already received the vaccine from the immunization campaign at personal care homes.

To book an appointment, eligible Manitobans can call 1-844-626-8222.
