To help slow the spread of COVID-19, the city has once again cancelled the Spring Giveaway Weekend which was scheduled for May 15 and 16, 2021.
The giveaway weekend was designed to give you the opportunity to find new owners for items that are in good condition and you no longer require. They keep items out of our landfill.
Another curbside Giveaway Weekend is scheduled for the Fall and its status will depend on the current state of the pandemic.
If you can’t wait until Fall, then check to see if your items can be dropped off at a Recycling or 4R depot. More info at https://winnipeg.ca/waterandwaste/recycle/depots.stm
