Manitoba’s minimum wage will be going up $1.55 on October 1, 2022. The hourly minimum wage go from $11.95 to $13.50. This marks the sixth year in a row Manitoba has seen a minimum wage increase (there was no increase in 2016). Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Manitoba was able to see a 5 cent increase in 2021.
Manitoba currently has the second-lowest minimum wage in Canada. Saskatchewan has the lowest hourly minimum wage at $11.81.
