From September 1 – 14, 2022, various Winnipeg restaurants will create original and unique burgers for you to enjoy. You’ll see a wide variety of burgers from the classic patty and cheese, to things like a donut burger!

Chicky Chicky Parm Parm with Black Truffle Cheese Chips

We take a beautiful Gunn’s Rosemary Foccacia Bun, add in a light coleslaw with a creamy made-in-house Italian dressing, a crispy, battered and fried Chicken breast covered in melted Bothwell parmesan cheese, and top it with a generous portion of our rich, made-in-house marinara. Served alongside a mountain of Black Truffle Monterey Jack Chips. Drool-city. $1 from each Chicky Chicky Parm Parm will go to the Manitoba Firefighters’ Burn Fund.

Vegetarian? We offer the Chicky Chicky Parm Parm with a plant-based battered patty instead!

Made From What’s Real Bannock Smashed Bison Cheeseburger

Welcome to an incredibly local initiative which promotes safe drinking water for our northern communities, and also supports our local bison, cheese and produce producers!

Here’s the goods: Manitoba grown and produced (just outside of Winnipeg) double smashed bison patties paired with house made fried bannock, Peak of the Market caramelized onions, topped with homemade jalapeno-strawberry jam and Bothwell smoked Gouda cheese. Of course comes with our Manitoba potato homemade skinny fries!

$1 from every burger sold will be donated to the initiative to provide clean drinking water to our reserves via www.waterfirst.ngo

Burger macs are back and are bigger than ever! Introducing our Le Burger Week entry: the JRC BIG MACaron!

Each BIG MACaron starts with a large macaron shell topped with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. A disc of chocolate coated feuilletine adds a waffle-cone crunch, then a delicious dark chocolate mousse ‘patty’ is covered with marshmallow fondant ‘cheese’ and stacked high with modelling chocolate ‘lettuce’, perfectly sweet royal icing ‘mustard’ and ‘ketchup’ and white chocolate ‘mayo’. Our secret sauce? A mouthwatering strawberry jam made from local strawberries that adds a touch of tart to pair beautifully with the dark chocolate and sweet additions.

Each BIG MACaron comes on a gold disc in a pink burger box and is ready to be your sweet finish to a day of burger tasting from around Winnipeg!
