DESCRIPTION:The Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba presents the 8th Annual Stone Soup Fundraiser! \nSimilar to the Stone Soup folktale\, the Stone Soup Fundraiser will challenge numerous partners\, including some of Winnipeg’s top chefs\, to come together to raise awareness and resources so that Manitoba’s children can grow\, learn and succeed. At the event\, the public is invited to “fill the pot” with their donations\, while they taste various soups and choose their favorite! Along with the People’s Choice Award\, there is a Judges’ Choice winner\, chosen by our four local celebrity judges. \nA $15 ticket allows you to try 3 soups from some of Winnipeg’s top chefs and vote for your favourite! Tickets are available on the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba website or at the event.

It culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance. \nUsing state of the art video projection\, photos and original film footage\, the show also features a full live band performing all of their hits\, including ‘Mrs. Robinson’ (featured in the 1967 film The Graduate)\, ‘Cecilia’\, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’\, ‘Homeward Bound’ and many more.
