During her lifetime she has collected hundreds of these songs which otherwise might lay undiscovered and unsung\, gathering dust in the archives. \nHer latest project – THE CRANKIE ISLAND SONGS – sees her collaborate with visual artist PETER CRANN in order to add yet another dimension to these beautiful gems. Any entwining of Cathy and Peter’s talents guarantees a project worth getting excited about. Cathy\, after all\, is one of Ireland’s most distinguished creative musical forces of any genre or era. And Peter is that ever so rare triple-threat of gentleman\, artist\, and craftsman in one\, with a gift for evocative simplicity.

His career in music has included extensive touring throughout Canada\, the United States and Asia. \nAaron began playing guitar after the death of his father. He quickly switched to drumming\, to allow him to play music with his brother\, who is also a guitarist. \nAaron was involved in several bands as a drummer throughout his early involvement in music. He then moved on to front bands as a singer and guitarist. It was then that he delved into songwriting. \nOver the next several decades\, Aaron began writing songs\, and switched between drumming or guitar and vocals\, playing and touring or recording with a host of bands and other artists. \nAaron more recently set to work on his first solo project\, recording an EP of his own\, and some co-written songs. Several of his talented musician friends joined him\, as guests\, to play on the recording. \nHis latest singles can be found on streaming platforms worldwide. The video for his first solo release entitled Out Of The Dark is also streaming. He has begun work on filming the video for his second single\, entitled Local Rabbits.
