DESCRIPTION:Ed was born and raised on a farm six miles south of Gladstone\, Manitoba off highway 34 and it was a steady diet of country roots and Elvis Presley. Grannies kitchen jam sessions left him soaked in smoke and guitar classics. Eventually he would find his way to nearby Portage La Prairie to study guitar with Murray Pulver and\, in turn\, to pursue his Jazz degree in Vancouver. \n Ed has been a working musician for over 20 years now and has learned from some of our country’s finest guitarists. The journey has left him with a strong and unique style as a guitarist and vocalist. Ed has always felt that if people were willing to listen to his music\, he had better have something to say. He has now found his way back home and to the grassroots style that he has never forgotten. Now an accomplished songwriter\, he has forged his musical voice.

DESCRIPTION:A familiar face to The Glesby\, Sierra Noble has been one of Manitoba’s most promising young talents since releasing her first instrumental album at age 14. Well known for most of her life as a fiddle virtuoso who breezes through numerous styles of music with stunning ease\, Sierra’s breadth of experience in music and in life at 23 is impressive. But\, she has never been one to rest on her laurels. Encouraged by fellow musicians to sing\, at age 17 Sierra decided to try her hand at writing songs. Her journey as a singer-songwriter has proven to be off to a promising start. Inspired by everything from the folk stylings of the great Patty Griffin\, to Top 40 hits from the last 6 decades\, Sierra picked up the guitar and quickly began honing a unique style and voice of her own.
