DESCRIPTION:The recent Supreme Court ruling on physician-assisted death has caused some confusion and worry around issues of consent and access. The Winnipeg chapter of DWD is hosting a film screening of “How to Die in Oregon”\, a documentary that follows the paths of people who are dying\, as well as the struggles to legalize the process in Washington. At intermission we’ll interview Hon. Steven Fletcher about his proposed legislation\, as well as Natasha Griffiths\, daughter of Susan Griffiths\, about their experience at Dignitas in Switzerland. Free to attend\, and all are welcome no matter what your views on the issue. \nSunday\, April 19 from 1:30 till 4:30 at the Carol Shields Auditorium\, Millennium Library.
