Canada’s Marie-Pier Beaudet was eliminated from women’s individual archery in the round of 16 on Day 4 of the Beijing Olympic Games by South Korea’s Yun Ok-Hee, one of the world’s best archers. In true Canadian spirit, Marie stated that she was just happy to make it that far.

Dwyane Wade led the men’s US basketball team to a 101-70 win over the Chinese. Sure, Lebron James added 18 points and pulled down six rebounds and swingman Kobe Bryant poured in 13 points, but Wade led with 19 points. USA remains undefeated in the Olympics smashing Angola 76-97 in their second Olympic game. Let’s hope they make it to the Gold medal game (of course they will).
