If your postal code starts with R2R or R2X, then you’re part of the next batch of 11,000 address moving to Community Mailboxes in 2015.

The conversion is expected to happen early Summer in 2015. Surveys will arrive shortly to determine where the community mailboxes will go.

12,500 addresses in Winnipeg have already been converted as part of Phase 1.

There will be no change in delivery for:

  • people living in apartment buildings, seniors’ buildings and condominiums who have mail delivered in the building lobby
  • customers who have mail delivered to a rural mailbox at the end of a driveway
  • business addresses if they are in well-established business areas, such as main streets or “business corridors,” or receive a relatively large volume of mail or parcels
