Winnipegger Kaitlyn Lawes will curl for a Gold Medal tonight along side her teammate John Morris. They’ll square off against a powerful Switzerland team.

The winner will be crowned the first Mixed Doubles gold medalists in Olympic history. Mixed Doubles Curling a new sport to the Winter Olympics. Unlike traditional curling, each team consists of only two players — one man, one woman. There are eight ends and each team throws five stones per end. Scoring is the same as in traditional curling.
