List of Stores Reopening at Grant Park Shopping Centre on May 4, 2020

The Manitoba Government has allowed non-critical retailers to reopen on Monday, May 4, 2020 as long as they practice very strict social distancing rules.

Effective Monday, May 4, 2020, Grant Park Shopping Centre will be open the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 7:00pm
  • Saturday 12:00pm to 6:00pm
  • Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm

There will only be two entrances open:

  • West Entrance (near Red River Co-Op)
  • East Entrance (near Shoppers Drug Mart)

To protect customers and staff, Grant Park has implemented:

  • If you are sick DO NOT visit: Visitors are not allowed to enter if they are ill or have any COVID-19 symptoms. If you are unsure, please use Manitoba’s COVID-19 Screening Tool: https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/
  • Physical distancing: Visitors are required to maintain a strict two metres of physical distance from one other. No more than 10 people may gather in any common area.
  • Limited points of entry: All customers are required to enter and leave through designated access points.
  • Line up: The mall and individual tenants will ask visitors to line up outside before entering and will enforce a one-in, one-out rule when at capacity.
  • Reduced Occupancy: Number of visitors is limited to 50 per cent of normal capacity or one person per 10 m2, whichever is smaller. Tenants are required to limit capacity within premises as well.
  • Follow all signage: Abide by all directional and guideline signage throughout the mall.
  • Use hand sanitizer and wash hands: Ensure you clean your hands regularly and properly. Hand sanitizer is available at entrances and exits and throughout the mall.
  • Use cashless payment when possible: Cashless or no-contact payment should be used when possible.
  • Food service: Only takeout, delivery, walk-up and patio service is allowed. Food tenant seating remains closed. In addition, sitting or standing at counters is not allowed unless a separation of two metres between groups is maintained. If patio seating is being used, a distance of two metres is required between tables. Drink refills are not allowed.
