Premier Gary Doer seems to be on board with David Asper’s latest proposal to have the University of Manitoba house the new Bomber Stadium.
Asper will pledge 100 million dollars towards a new 30 thousand seat stadium. The stadium that will be at the U of M will be home to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Manitoba Bisons.
Asper is asking the province to contribute 20 million dollars, Premier Doer seems to be ok with this plan and things are looking more realistic than the last proposal.
