Manitoba Conservation has extended the ban on fires, including campfires, to Birds Hill Provincial Park due to the extremely dry conditions and high forest-fire danger. Propane and gas appliances can continue to be used with caution.
Various bike and hiking trails in the park have also been closed due to the high fire hazard. The campground, beach areas, day use and group use areas remain open.
