I don’t think the photo used is over the top. St. Teresa Point has issues with drugs and gangs… and only has 2600 residents. Maybe my idea of gangs are skewed by movies and north-end stories but if these gangs are enough of a problem to warrant Mounties to be flown in and out of the reserve from Winnipeg regularly, I’m gonna say it’s gotta be this hardcore.
It’ll be 6 officers assigned and stationed in Winnipeg. They’ll fly out every couple days, then come back. This is in response to the difficulties the Island Lake RCMP detachment has faced trying to serve St. Teresa Point.
