A couple of hours just west of Winnipeg near the City of Brandon a seat belt was the hero of the day.
On Tuesday April 8th a pick-up truck collided with a CPR train.
The passengers were a 41 year old woman from Oak Lake and her 1 year old son. Tragically the mother passed away at the scene but the son survived with minor injuries. Police credit the use of a safety belt for saving the boys life…
