So, I was cleaning the house the other day when I stumbled upon a box of old toys. In that box I found Theodore… NO, NOT THE CHIPMUNK!… He was my teddy bear. Yes, I, Mark David, had a teddy bear. I bet so have all of you!
So if you remember where your little furry friend is or if you have a child/niece or nephew that has a furry best friend, bring them down to Assiniboine Park on Sunday May 25th for the 22nd annual Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic.
This years event will feature a number of very entertaining acts. I went to the picnic a couple of years ago and the main performer was Toronto’s own Shawn Desmond. Also there are over 40 tents for medical help for injured bears.
