Grab your furry friend and get walkin’. The event takes place on Sunday June 22, at Assiniboine Park Duck Pond. There are a few different events since friends come in all sizes. The main event is a 3K walk around Assiniboine Park for the dogs, however this is not the only event. There is a 1K walk for smaller paws such as rabbits, cats, and other small pets. The 1K walk is called the Furry Scurry and will be held near the duck pond at Assiniboine Park, as well as other fun activities such as the “Amazing Race.” This event is a great way to show your support to the Winnipeg Humane Society, get some fresh air and good exercise.
Pledge Forms are available several ways:
