A tentative agreement has been made with three business owners to use their builds to link the skywalk system from the Convention Centre to Portage and Main. A link will go between City Place and the HSBC Bank building and the HSBC building to the Delta Winnipeg hotel.
It’s technically not an expansion, but rather the completion of plans that have been in the works in the past four years.
They should keep this project going and expand further out of downtown. This would help walking to work for many poor souls in the winter.
