While this isn’t directly Winnipeg related, the bus she was on was headed from BC to Toronto (and geography tells us they need to come through Winnipeg).
The woman, from Surrey, B.C. who is known to police had a 9mm handgun hidden under her clothing with 5 bullets, the chamber being empty.
Now I am not an expert in crime and what not but what does it take to increase security on a bus?!?! We all know what’s possible.
