Time to get that snowboard out of bed… and into the shop to get waxed.
Holiday Mountain has announced that they will be turning on their chair lifts, t-bar lift and magic carpet on Friday December 12th 2008.
I’m pretty stoked about their opening. They say that they got about 30 cms of snow there in the past 72 hours, and their live snow cam shows that the runs look like they would on any given “snowboarding” day. The only weak thing about their opening days is that usually only 1 run is open. I’m hoping that’ll change this year since there is a bunch of snow so early in the season. I just hope that they fixed the broken lift from last season. 1 chair lift just isn’t enough for that place.
