Winnipeg is playing host to the National Convervative Party Convention which kicks off tonight, November 13, at the Winnipeg Convention Center, with a speech from Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
There are numerous events and items on the agenda for the convention for the 2500+ Tories from across Canada to attend, including talks about fundraising, and a volunteer appreciation awards ceremony hosted by the Prime Minister’s wife.
Another highlight of the convention is a performance by country star Paul Brandt, on the Friday night of the convention.
