The Pittsburgh Steelers are the Super Bowl XLIII Champions! I am not a big football fan, but that was an AMAZING game.
One of the most notable plays? Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison gets an interception while in their own endzone AND in the dying seconds of the first half. Harrison would return the interception 100 yards (coast-to-coast) for new Super Bowl records for single interception return and for longest touchdown.
The Cardinals would almost make the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history and taking the lead with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter after being down 20-7. But the Steelers would shatter their hearts with a touchdown in the last 35 seconds of the 4th quarter.
Final score was 27-23 for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Santonio Holmes was the games MVP.
